boost gauge

Do most of you all run a boost/vacuum gauge or just boost? Should I get one that max's out at 30 or should I go higher?

Vacuum on the 6.0 is provided by an auxiliary vacuum pump. No manifold vacuum in this one.

I would go boost only and higher than 30. Mine went to 31 stock with the diesel tech and his WDS computer hooked up during a test for mileage at one time. So I know it will go higher than 30.

I see the ones listed on the site but I like the autometer ones better. I will browse through summit and see what I can find. Thanks for all your help.

Pick up the phone and call MotorHaven. They are really good with prices and service. They have a lot more than what is on the web page. They are also a sponsor of this site.

I agree that it's great to buy from our sponsors, BUT, if you need to find all of the autometer guages and not just the poplular ones, go to WWW.EGAUGES.COM , they have every gauge that autometer offers on their website and really good prices listed. Also, they have many other brands to compare. Support the site and it's sponsors if you can, but they may not have what you are looking for.

so would one that goes to 35 cut it, what if I got a programmer? I just have no clue what kind of boost these things run. My cobra hits about 15 on a good day so I don't need much on that beast. Let me know
