Using propane on engines

Just wondering if anyone has used propane on thier trucks or know of a good website on it. I'm looking into the pros and cons for an off road truck. I figured I could put it on a engine instead of a carb.That way it won't die on you at high angled climbs.

Stu, i have seen the trucks programme on tv where they had tanks made to mount under the truck that had propane hooked up to the intake kinda like a nitrus setup and it works and is being used. i will seekout more info 4 u.

Looks like it would only be good if you use it on a trail ride, unless you live near a fill station. I know out west like arizona have them set up at gas station.
