carb question x2
Well, nobody answered my last question so I'll change it a bit and try again. Should I go with a 500cfm 2bbl or 500cfm 4bbl? Does anyone have any experiance with both and can tell me performance diff and milage diff? Any input would be great. The carb is going on my 68 I6. Thanks!

I used a 390 and think it is too small! It runs ok but I think better could be had. Clifford did sell and Edelbrock 500 cfm 4bbl and now offer a 500, 2bbl and all info indicates bothe will work. I know several that have used a Motorcraft 600, 2bbl without a problem. I have also seen posts about Holly and Motorcraft 600cfm 4bbl used without problems. But other then the 390 this is "hear say". I don't question the truth of the other posts but I have never personally seen them.
