Rear Wheel Studs Replacement Help
I HAVE AN 86 RANGER 2.9 TWO WHEEL DRIVE STANDARD.on each side in the back i have 1 stud snapped off, and i think more might snap if i take off the rear tires...looking at my haynes manual, i cant see too much as far as the process to put new ones on...anyone know if i have to tear the whole rear end apart or do i just have to take off the brake assembly?any help would be greatly appreciated...also what tools might i need to do this?

I think you'll be able to drive out the old with a hammer and a punch, and draw the
new one into the axle with some large washers and a lug nut. On removal you'll have to take off the brake drum and turn the axle so you don't hit any of the brake parts while
driving it out.
