Help! with vacuum pump
If anyone can give me a little help here I would appreciate it. My vacuum pump went bad yesterday and I picked up a new one this morning. It did not come with a new pulley. I need to take the old one off the old pump and put it on the new one. Is it pressed on? I thought I would ask before I screwed it up. I was thinking of going to the nearest auto shop to see if they would swap the pulley around. Any suggestions? The snow is on the way and I need to have this truck ready to plow.Thanks Bill.

I found a guy around the corner, at a body shop, that hooked me up. He had the snap on puller and the press and was happy to help. In about 10 minutes I was back under the hood and a few minutes later I was back on the road. Just waitin on the snow now. Thanks for your help. Bill
