Carb ID
I have a 83 F250 with a Holley carb. The numbers oin the air horn are 80179 and 1048. Does anyone know which carb this is and if it is worth rebuilding?

Are you sure there are not any letters with the number, My Holley book shows a 80169 then next is a 80180. Holley built carbs for Motorcraft and kits and parts are found under the Motorcraft # but it has numbers & letters, carbs have Holley on them. Just knowing alittle about these trucks I would guess it is a 4180, I'm assuming this is a 4 bbl.

Thank you for the information. I check again and the 80179 and 1048 air ****. The 8 maybe a B but it looks the same and the 8 in 1048. Also on the body of the carb is 11031. It is a 2 bbl. Thank you for the help.
