86 B2... 2.9L EFI... 240,000 miles
Failing the HC emmisions test...engine HC280...allowable HC220.
I'm trying to determine if the CATs on my B2 are working.
I think I remember someone somewhere saying that you should have
a minimum difference of 100 degrees F across the CAT. Well...
the 2.9L B2 has 2 CATs inline. On the first CAT I get 330F inlet and 197F
outlet. On the 2nd CAT I get very little temp difference across it at all.
Anybody with experience on this subject????
