The air bag lite on my 94 F-150 has started flashing constantly....Two questions.. If there is an issue does the airbag go into a no operate default type mode(so as not to go off in my face).??. and do the flashes translate code wise ?? Thanks
its more than likely the clock spring, but you should have it checked, Im not sure if you can bring it to a place like autozone, or if theres a way to get the light to flash out a code, im sure someone will chime in. id look on fords website, but it only goes back to, 1996 for details on trucks. whatever you do, make sure you DISARM the system before performing any work on it.

normally the air bag light stays on constantly. but I think someone once posted that they got some type of code like similar to the check engine flashes. try searching.
I think it was under the electrical section.
i meant normally when something is wrong. the fault normally informs you it's not working properly. but it doesn't mean it won't trigger in an accident or that it will either. try searching, youll likely to find something good luck
It wont, or shouldent at least, but I would question if it would trigger if it got into an accident, you may not want to wait to long before having that fixed. its probly something real simple, did you buy chance check the fuse for it? my moms old mini van used to do that once in a blue moon, i think it happend like twice in like 7 years, it blew the airbag fuse for no aparent reason.
