The only issue I had with my flexplate was lining up the offset holes in the flexplate to the end of the crank (didn't realize they were offset until I went through 4 flexplates from the parts store), and;
Since I was converting from a clutch to an auto, I utilized the old crank bolts to attach the flexplate. However, since the flexplate is MUCH thinner than a flywheel, the bolts were then so long that they then protruded into the crank, preventing the engine from turning over (internal clearance problems). So get shorter bolts...
