What doesn't it look at is more like it. There are both intake and exhaust manifold pressure sensors, throtle posistion, and I am sure a host of other variables including tempurature of incoming air and exhaust. I would not even be suprized if they threw in what gear the tranny is in and the learned memory of how you drive.
I almost forgot the Dodge Hemi close proximity sensor also.

hmmm, my uncle is an electronics engineer, ervt turbo transplant into 7.3. after getting my international 4400 lopro with the 300hp DT466 with the ervt turbo on it, and can smoke my 7.3 with it made me think of where to make more off the line power without putting some massive injectors in it, cause then id have to do head gaskets, studs, fire rings, bla bla bla the list goes on.....
