Hey all,
I don't have anything important to post right now but I wanted to say hey to everyone. I'm still waiting on my engine to get here from indymustang.com so I can take a look at their craftmanship. I called them last week and the owner said they were porting the heads and it should be finished soon. I'm not in diar need of it right now but I'm really looking forward to getting it here so I can start the installation process. Just in case you missed my other post, it is a rebuilt 302 with a torquey RV cam, bored .030 over and the heads are machined and ported. The valves are slightly bigger than stock too. It was just a replacement for the tired 302 that's currently in my truck now. It should wake it up a little and hopefully should give me satisfactory performance. I know I know, for all you big doggs out there with 351's and 460's this is nothing great, but for the type of things I do with my truck, my stock motor was fine and caused me no heart ache. I guess my gear setup helps me out a bit too though . I will post the progress of my install and how the motor turnes out when it gets here just in case anyones interested. Other than that not much to say. I did post some new pics in my gallery for you all's enjoyment so take a gander and have fun. Talk atcha later..

Nice. From my experience those little 302 engines are quite nice, I am currently running an 84 F-150 with the 5.8l HO engine, but its having some problems. I am currently collecting parts for it and soon it will become a 393 Clevor engine. Putting in a stroker crank with a 3.85 stroke, basically rebuilding the entire thing in about a year I plan on. Probably will put in a good torque cam, cleveland heads. The whole thing. Clevors are quite nice engines, most havnt caught on to them yet. Say that putting GT-40 heads is the way to go, bah. They Clevors will make lots of Horsepower, but what im more doing it for is for the low end torque numbers that this mod will give me. Yeah. I basically had nothing to talk about either I suppose. Just feel like talking. Also when I do my engine, that will be the last of my projects, the start of next summer I plan to overhaul the entire vehicle, frame up. Sandblast the frame, paint it with rustoleum, paint it black, new mounts for everything, will probably go with a Dana 60, T-18 transmission, redone interior. Yeah. It will be quite the project. I just have to put up with it until then.... Drat. Oh well, good luck with your engine
Daniel
