Same Thing Or Different Problem
I posted yesterday "Where'd My Power Go." I have a 95' F-150 302 and it was getting off the line very sluggish would rev up all the way till ten or 15 secs later. Today I went to start it.....started up fine and then it sound like the rpm's went down and the truck shut off. The battery guage also dipped..It did it twice before it finally started and ran...It's cold here but that would affect the idle i don't think...i was told maybe the fuel regulator...i dunno....the check engine light also comes on when the rpm's dip...Any help here???Thanks

If you have check eng light youhave codes - get codes; searchforum for "Codes" or take it to Autozone and post back. Suonds as if battery may be dying or you may have a bad cable or ground with the gauge dropping and dying after starting up - check cables and have battery tested at a parts store. Good luck!!

Codes are stored, have them check for them or go to fordfuelinjection.com and check them yourself for free. Get back with the codes. Also check your ground cables, they can cause faulty gauge readings. I mean the grounds from the chassis to your engine, as well as your battery connections. Sounds like battery going or contributing alternator issue.
