Sorry about the 2001 EXP reference but that was what I heard from the radio.
Jan. 27, 2005 -- The Ford Motor Company will announce a major recall of 792,000 Ford vehicles because of fires caused by faulty cruise control systems, ABC News has learned.
The entire 2000 model year of the Navigator, Expedition and F-150 truck will be recalled along, with a limited number of 2001 F-150 Super Cabs.

Im glad..
Im glad Ford is finally addressing this problem. Im blessed that my expy hasnt burned up, but eversince reading about these fires Ive been conserned about the situation.
btw, the IAC valve replacement fixed the problem and so far so good.
And thanks to this forum for directing me to the solution.
