replacing grill

will a grill from 86 f150 xlt fit an 86 ford xlt lariet 4wd ? reason i ask is my 86 has a metal grill that is rusty ,i see a lot of 86 f150s in junk yard with plastic grills that look different .are they interchangeable?

Yes, the grilles will swap out. You may have an aftermarket replacement if it's metal tubes, but the size or dimensinos are the same for both trucks.
