charging grief
I have a 1979 F250 with a 460. The dang thing won't stay charged. I thought maybe a bad battery or alternator but I had both tested and they are ok. The voltage regulator was bad and I replaced it but that did not help the problem. My brother in law was dicking with the wires on the alternator the other day and I am wondering if maybe he hooked them up wrong. Does anyone know what the proper connections are. If you do or have any other ideas please let me know.
