that orange and black ford was on one of the TV channels like OLN or Speed. It was also at the Sema show of I remember correctly. He has since got a set of tracks for all four corners for the snow. That is what he was at the SEMA show for. If this is not the same truck it is a darn close look alike...
Is this the one you're thinking of?
This thing rolled off the back of a tow truck last year. I have a pic (not on computer) of it upside down at the bottom of a ravine....
I saw a guy down at the dunes in Cali (Gordon's Well) that had a set of these on his dodge. He was cruisin' around pretty good on 'em, I was impressed (with the tracks, not the truck, ha ha). I didn't get a close up look though, he wouldn't stop long enough for anyone to gather around.
If you go to www.mattracks.com they have a bunch of cool videos of trucks running through different terrain.

A truck like this would be cool to run in the sand. That is if it has about -10" of lift. That way the 10bolt front and 12 bolt rear wouldn't instantly be grenaded. With that nice 18" of lift, you'd probably over down a dune pretty easy (roll, as in end for end). Noticed- no front blocks, but has 16" rear blocks, at least, it should have.

I will give this guy credit, it looks like his truck has actually been offroad more than twice. The mudflaps are a bit hard-k0re though. What's wrong with the NOS floormats? I was going to get a set of those for my beater.

The axle is too far forward. A sawzaw will fix that though. At least there will be no wheel hop or axle sway in the rear. The front end looks like it was almost well designed, although you can't see it very well.

The PS2 looks molded real nice. However, everything else looks like it was just shoved in there. At least the front axle is centered.
I can't stand mall crawlers. from the looks of the axles on those two chevy's I could have broken them hoping the curb that I come off of everyday leaving school.

It's not the same one, as silver bullet said.. it slid off into a ravine and also killed the owner. It was one of Truckin's top 100 of all time, but it's no longer existent. It has also been on a show called Modern Marvels on the Discovery channel if I remember right, they did a special on it. It was one awesome truck.

Nobody was killed in the incident involving the truck pic that I posted. It was on the back of a 1 ton flatbed tow truck. The towtruck driver went around the corner too fast and rolled it down the ravine. I have the article sitting here at my desk. The tow truck driver was the only one occupying the vehicle and he was conscious when they arrived (per the article). It happened in Lucerne Valley. From the article, "The mishap occurred at the bottom of the Cushenbury Grade on Highway 18 near the Mitsubishi Cement plant".
I looked for the article online but couldn't find it. I tried taking a pic of it with my phone but it's hard to see, the whole cab is crushed.
ya know, i almost like the 4llink on that Harley Ford, but, am i blind or were the only things holding that truck up the four nitro shocks??? are those things really that tuff that they can hold up offroading by themselves???or are they a mallcrawler product?? ive never really looked into them..............i like the suspension concept but he can keep the truck, bling, toys and all............
