PS pump/gearbox models?

Also, is a C-11 a strong and reliable pump (doing hydro assist)? Did they put C-11's on anyhting other than diesels? Are they better than Saginaws?
edit again: Is the C-11 a pump/gearbox set? or is the C-11 the pump or the gearbox?

I dont understand what the vacuum system has to do with hydro assist power steering...
Also, just to be sure we are on the same page, its Hydro-Assist, not Full Hydro, therefore the mechanical link of the tie-rods, pitman arm, etc. are still maintained.
Edit: I know PS is week (Im on my second pump and steering box already) but how does the C10 compare to a Saginaw?
