BTW, how do you know bodymen hate come-backs???

Comebacks? (meaning having to redo sub-par work or screw-ups) Every bodyman and body shop owner I know hates them, I hated them when I was doing it. It's a pride thing, it costs the shop extra labor and sometimes materials, it makes the customer agitated, and bad word spreads fast. Comebacks suck, so most bodymen want to make it right the first time. That's why a good bodyman will read the customer. If I read a picky customer, I knew that my work better be perfect or I'd get a comeback. A bodyman is an artist, the car is his canvas, so the good ones will really take pride in their work. On the flip side, a good body shop owner or estimate writer will also read a customer and might quote you a higher price for a paint job if he knows you want it perfect or if you'll be a picky pain-in-his-****.
Now you guys know some secret insider-info; how to get your bodyman to do his best work...your trucks are worth it.
