Hey this one is buggin me. Every now and then my engine wont start. The starter wont crank at all. I hear the starter relay click but thats all. I give the positive battery cable that goes to the relay a good tug and try it again. Thing fires right up. I dont understand it, my cable is relatively new, theres really no corrosion on the battery end, and then other end of the cable is on there pretty solid so im pretty sure it has a good connection too. And ideas?

 

I'd say from my experience its the conection somehow. I no it is new and all that but electricial can be such a pain, unless its the relay maybe ...But I am sure someone else might no more then me take care.

 

it might be the starter. happened to me too. i would hear the relay click and nothing would happen. have someone try and start it and look underneath at the starter. i know that a wire from mine was arcing onto the frame of my truck. replaced the starter and viola, all better.
