Front end rebuild info needed...

65 2WD 3/4 ton, looking for NOS goodies...I beam bushing, rad. rod bush(F&R) and I would love a bronze bushing kingpin kit..all I can find is the plastic...as to steering...drag link and tie rod ends. Looking thru my parts books, IDing the front end stuff is the biggest pain in the butt and still no luck IDing everything.

Also...do the pivot bushings come w/the metal outer shell??? And whats the torque on the pivot nuts/bolts....The one spec I cant find in the shop manual, but if you read the text as to the R&R, it says to torque to spec....

Any info/leads immensely appreciated....I hate seeing it sit...has a RH king pin Im surprised hasnt broke...wicked loose.

Thanks as always guys...cs65

My pivot bushings came from Moog and had the metal on the outside. Bushings and steering parts are available darn near anywhere. Bronze sleeves are available...have you tried Carpenter or Carolina Classics? Carolina lists steel bushings but it's a little confusing to read in the catalog as to what may fit.
As for torque...good and tight is what I used, and it's worked fine.

Here's your part numbers:

C5TZ 3B177-A (2) I beam bushings-- 5/8 ID-2-1/4 OD
C5TZ 3B203-C (2) Radius arm bushings Still available from Ford
C5TZ 3B203-B (2)
C5TZ 3304-A Drag Link
C5TZ 3280-A Inner and outer T/rod assy

KIng pin set- I need axle stamping number off axle. You can get all this stuff thru NAPA by giving them the part numbers I've listed. If you want NOS, I can use the locator.
