engine brackets
My 6 cyl. quit on me about two weeks ago. I foung a rebuilt 302 for $600 and need all the brackets for the alternator, A/C, P/S, etc. Where's a good place to get them other than a salvage yard? I need to know if my NP 435 will bolt up to the 302.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Jul-02 AT 11:36 PM (EST)]your tranny will bolt up, bellhousing will also work. you will need to get a 302 flywheel. you will have to change the motor stands on the frame also. a little wiring work and some exhaust. and the radiator. its not a hard swap, just takes a little time. as for the brackets, the salvage is the best place to get them. you get all the bolts that way. saves a lot of time. while you are getting the brackets you can get everything else you need.what year is your pickup? the above will work if it is not fuel injected. if it is injected you will need all the injection wiring, sensors and relays. not to mention the computer.
