Talking Wiring harness info needed

Hey y'all...
I just got done swapping in a 351W into my 94 F150. I need to know which wiring harness I can use. Junk yard shopping tomorrow! HELL YEAH! Hahaha...I have the motor phyiscally mounted in and hooked up to all components except the wiring. Truck has the e4od auto in her...I probably need the correct computer for the tranny too, right? Can I use the wiring harness from a 89 F250 that had a 5spd? Probably not, huh?
Any other details that I may run into? I know this has been done many times before, so all help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Rad

What was the original motor in your '94? If it was a 302, just use that wiring harness with a 351 E4OD computer. If you replaced a 6 cylinder, you can use a 302 or 351 harness with a 351 computer - both the harness and the computer should be from a truck with the E4OD, as well as from a similar year model truck (i.e. '93-'95 speed density V8 truck with E4OD).

Ah yes, look for a V8 E4OD harness then, from the years I listed above. The engine harness should plug into the stock chassis/underhood harness on your truck, but I would get out a multimeter and double check the wire functions to make sure they are the same between the six cylinder harness and the V8 harness so you don't accidentally fry something if there is a difference. Happy searching
