They're also unsafe, the GM trucks have no sub structure under the front fenders. I would not want to be in a front end collision in a Silverado/Sierra.

One of my friends had a crash in an '04. It didn't fair too well. The crash probably woulda totalled any truck, but he was lucky he walked away the way it folded up.

i hope you mean front or rear? our parts truck at work has been hit on both ends and bent like a pie plate both times. this is suposed to be a truck? sorry if i seem anti gm, the dealer i work at has vw and buick to me imm the vw has better bumpers then our chevy 2x4 parts truck. our 4x4 plow truck snaps a axle every winter and thats a 3500 model! i just wonder.
