ignition question.
Hey fellas, was working on my bros 92 ranger and thought of something, It has a 2.3L fourbanger with the 2 coil packs. If I understand it right the drivers side is the primary and the other side fires about half a sec after the primary, what if I spliced the feed wires from the primary and doubled them over too the other coil pack so that the 2 plugs in each cylinder fire at once.
I know that dragsters do this for more power too burn the gas more effectivly.
Would doubling the wires be a problem with the ecu?
Could this work or am I just dreaming.
Any comments?
