Fuel Tank...
Is "Main" normaly the rear tank or midship tank?
On my 1978 F150 with factory dual tanks, and the switch near the AC controls, the fuel guage works and so does the physical valve. The tank being read on the dash and the tank fuel actually in use matches fine.
In short, everything works but I think that the switch may be backwards from some posts I read in the past.
If its backwards I probably won't mess with it, since it all works, but has someone changed the wiring on my switch?

I actually found a control unit that has front/back on it vs main/aux. I pulled it from a '73 and did not realize it untill I went to fill up and switch tanks after installing it in my '77. I had to switch the wires from the two tanks to match the switch now all is fine!
