Aerostar head lights
The headlights of my ´93 Aerostar started blinking on and off randomly, so that my car looks like a disco at night, flashing its lights on and off, which is not only annoying but also dangerous. Sometimes it behaves well for a few hours, and then it starts again.
It only affects the headlights, not the dashboard or the other front or rear lights. I checked the fuses and they are not loose or anything. Could it be a problem with the light switch?
Any clues?

This seems to be a fairly standard problem with the Stars. It can be anything from a loose connection to a bad light switch. You should use the search function and will find numerous postings with lots and lots of help.

I had a simular problem with my 70 Camero. The Highway patrol poled me over one night to point out a burned out head light. I said thats odd because it was on just a few moments before when I left a friends house. I could see it on his garage door. I got out looked, hit the hood over the light and it came on. He said get it fixed. as I drove on home I noticed my lights would alternate when I hit bumps and some itmes no lights. The fix was to take apart the connectors and then clean the terminals with emery cloth. This my be your problem too.
