You can find awsome deals on a manual 5.4 f250. UNLESS you are pulling something I would go this route (also, taking into account money may be an issue) The v10 has power but you better get a map because you will need to know were every gas station is in the country.
Yes, the diesel is a $5000 option, but in the long run it will save you in fuel cost. I don't know how much towing or long distance driving you will do, but IMO I would definately consider the diesel over the V10 in the F-250. $5000 over a 5-6 year loan really isn't that much. Good luck!

TXAG Well thats a farmer or rancher tag. Well from Wisconsin let me tell you somethings. The 04 F150 5.4 3v with the auto trans is great. We pull 6000lbs Ag Baggers here up and down hills no problem. This truck is great! Power Power and more Power. Pop it out of OD and step on it.
I ordered a 2 wd reg cab with heavy duty payload pkg and 4:10 rearend and am very happy. I am in the fields all the time and this is a bullet proof frame.

that's almost a $100 extra a month, that would be a deal breaker for me. i do agree about the diesel over the v10 for power but is it going to cost an extra $5000 in gas over 5-6 yrs, i highly doubt it.
