Helms has service manuals, emissions manuals and owners manuals. I don't think they have parts manuals. Parts manuals are typically used at the parts counters at dealerships.
Thanks for the suggestions. None of the links panned out. I'll have to stop in at the dealership and see if they will help. Although, If my local dealer was any good - I wouldn't need the manuals in the first place
Havingthe parts manual(s) helps identify how things go together (i.e. the two-piece lower windshield molding clips I've been trying to find). BTW, I have the shop manuals.
It helps correctly identify the names of the parts and shows what parts are the same from different models/years for salvage yard missions.
When I worked for an independent autoshop I had access to the 82 F-series parts book and I used it a lot.
Now that my truck is twenty years old the dealership doesn't have much for it. If I go aftermarket having the correct part number and description is helpful.
For example, when I upgraded to dual batteries, I looked up the parts in the manual and gave the list to my dealer. It made sure I got the right parts and saved time at the parts counter.
