Trans swap

Im swapping out the four speed standard trans in my 1987 F150 4X4 for an automatic. Truck has a 5.8 litre engine...Any suggestions on which trans to use would be greatly appreciated thanks

If you want a solid auto then I would go with the C6 but there isn't overdrive. If you want overdrive then you will probably have to go with the AOD...

By far they are the cheapest. Heck I even have one out of a 4x4 that I am trying to sell... Not in high demand anymore.
