I have a newly rebuilt 351M in my 77F250 and would like to dress it up a little.
crome air cleaner and valve covers.
Here is my question. On my factory air cleaner there is a vacum line that goes to it. If I elimate this line will it be smog legel and interfer with the preforance.
I would re route the line to the inside for a vacum gauge.

you can remove that hose and you can replace the factory cleaner with a dress up style or K&N type. You can remove that line and still be smog legal as far as i know. my buddy has his changed out and it passes CA smog with no problem.
