94 explorer vacuum hoses

I have questions about the vacuum hoses on my 94 X. The Autozone website has the vacuum hose diagram, but I can't quite see how it relates to what I see under the hood.

Most importantly, I am looking for the vacuum hose that connects to the transmission. The hose diagram shows that about six hoses all come together at the "MAN VAC". Where is this???

There is a vacuum 'tree' located on the driver side near the firewall. I think that's what you are referring to.

To add to this, the vacuum tree is on the driver's side of the intake manifold near the firewall.

Thanks - I found the vacuum tree. No obvious leaks, hissing, etc. I think I foudn the vacuum line that leads to the tranny also. It's a short rubber hose that connects to some steel tubing (which is bolted to the back of the engine in a few spots), then runs straight down at the firewall. I'm assuming it the turns back to the tranny although I can't quite see it.

I pulled the rubber hose off at the vacuum tree and there was no sign of tranny fluid. Could my vacuum modulator still be the problem? Is there a rubber hose that connects to the modulator, or does this steel line run directly into it?

There is an approximately 6" rubber hose from a steel line to the VM. This was my problem. It had been damaged by the heat shield between the transmission and the cat convertor. Although the hose was the issue I replaced the VM while I was in there (from the top, through the plate, under the carpets, in the centre, as mentioned in the other thread).
