Headlights???
installed my 2005 style headlights on my 2000 Superduty yesterday. They turned out great! I am very pleased with the result. It probably took me about 3.5-4 hours taking my time. It took me a little longer on the first headlight because I was learning what to do. I used the stock mounting holes at the bottom and I used the friction clip things with burrs on it to secure the top. I made sure to take pictures during the installation. They are in my gallery. Special thanks to Jeff (aboveaveragef350) for answering my emails.
All that was needed was 2 headlights and 2 pigtails. I paid $100 each for the healights and $48 each for the pigtails. My total came out to be about $296. I think thats a pretty good deal. I just hate that the pigtails cost so much each. They already came with all the lights needed.
The lighting difference is huge compared to my foggy 2000 style heaglights. I got a chance to drive a while last night and I couldnt believe how much more I could see.
The part numbers are:
Healights- 5C3Z-13008-AA and 5C3Z-13008-BA
Pigtails- 3U2Z-14S411-FKAA
