anybody ever heard of this? I have some hail damage to my hood and i was told to put de-icer on it and it would bring em out? Is this true? or was somebody bsing?
That's a new one by me, but I have heard about using ice or dry-ice as well has using a bit of heat.
What happens is that you shrink or expand the metal, it's thin so doesn't take much. I did this to a pickup side panel that was popin-in and out. BUT if you use too much heat, you'll be in for a re-paint.
maybe it was dry ice. They told me i could put it on the dent on a sunny day and it would pop it out. so this works on 78 right or those newer trucks? I gotta get a new paint job anyway so m not worried to much about the paint.
