4x4 vibes!!
I just got back from a 5 hour road trip with my 04 screw.It rode well except for steering wheel nibble at 60mph and higher and a high pitched whistle at around 69mph . Well as I got closer to home I had to put it in 4 wheel drive to get through the blizzard of 05. The next day I disengage the 4 wheel drve and as im driving down the highway my vibes just got 3 times more noticable. My god my seat was a shacking like u would not believe. I just got it back from the dealer last week about my slight vibrations and the dealer agreed the truck had the "vibes",I could almost deal with that but this is not tolerable.I did check the rims for snow build up thinking that might throw the tires off balance to give me the serious vibes but there was nothing.Im gonna call the dealer tom. and see if I could steal one of their mechanics and take him down the thruway........ give him the ride of his life .....im gonna call it the "ride for vibe"......lol

Thanks Fifteen for the input. My truck goes in Wednesday for this nibble problem. They had my truck all last week for the vibes and nibble.They found my concern with the vibe and they documented it as "concern verified at highway speeds,ford is working on a solution"but the nibble they couldnt duplicate. Well I took my truck for a 5 hour trip over the weekend and it definately has a nibble at 65mph and higher. I told my dealer last week I want the tires roadforced and the EVA test done to verify everything,they stated they wont do it cause they dont have the equipment to test for it.My thing is ,ford puts it in the TSB to do both test so how can they tell me they wont do it.They can take it someplace that has the equipment to do it!
