Look on the drivers side of the engine block. Down low under the intake manifold, there is a black rectangular box called an oil separator box. On top of the box is a hose that contains the pcv. The hose routes beyond the pcv up through the intake runners to the area around the throttle body.

As I recall, it is about 2"x4"x2" in size. Black in color. Top and bottom are stamped sheet metal pieces. It allows a place for oil in the crankcase to separate itself from other vapors in the crankcase, so that oil does not go up to the pcv.
