Aero headlight install
Hello all,
This is my first post. I have a 2000 SD and I am exchanging the original headlights for the newer "jewel" aero lamp housings.
I know it's a little thing, but how in the heck does one remove the retaining clips with out breaking them. I'm guessing there is a "special" tool for this ( an 80.00 Snap-On item Prob. LOL).
I cold have had this completed this a.m. except for breaking on clip. The other half is going to the dealer for extra clips monday a.m.
I know this has been done by many, and I know this has been a popular swap as evidenced by the amount of sets and the amount of $ exchanged on Ebay for the last couple of years.
Anyone have the inside scoop on this swap??

If your talkin about the snaps at the bottom of the headlight, i used small vise grips to pinch in the flaps and pulled it out. If your talkin about the retainers on top, just use a screwdriver to get them out!!If that dont work, get a manual!!
