Just did something really stupid

Hey guys, when pushing my Ranger I hit the tailgate with my shoulder and dented it. its only a small one and I think it will pop back out but does anybody have any homemade dent popping ideas? thanks

not sure how small you mean, but since you hit it with your shoulder, you could use a small toilet plunger. worked like a charm for my dad when he dented his door.

Did you happen to hit it in an area that can be accessed by removing a panel on the tailgate that faces inside the bed? If so, remove the panel and gently tap on the point of the dent. Use a hammer and some form of extension, be careful, and try to distribute the force with something such as a wood block. Go slow and easy and take your time, it's easy to work it out bit by bit, but if you go to far it won't be easy to reverse your actions.
