Crack a window, or take all the leaves and junk out of your fresh air intake.

Its actually down by the passenger side if you don't have A/C, if you do I think its on the drivers side.

A lot of leaves get sucked up in there in the fall when it starts getting cold in the morning.

I made a filter for my intake, and it dramatically cut down on road noise.

I have a 79 with the heavy duty heater, your locations might differ, but its all the same design.

I was just thinking, when your heater core starts leaking a little bit, it will fog the windows up too, my 4x4 does this.

You should have a vent on the passenger side, its kinda behind the heater assmebly and you'll have to loosen it a little to get access underneath it.

Your leaking heater core is most likely what is causing the condesation buildup (warm moist air coming in contact with a cold dry surface)

FogTech for auto/truck windows?

[QUOTE=Mil1ion]Try this stuff

Hey Dennis. Have you used our product before? The reason I ask is because I am not really recommending FogTech for auto windows. FogTech works great on fog, but because of the application method and the expense, defogging windows is a bit hard on the budget and hard to get a coating that does not smear.

FogTech is being used for small optics, like face shields, goggles, glasses, gun sights, etc.

I did have one guy who used it to defog his tractor windows, so it works but....

If anyone has bought it for their windows and has a problem, we will give you your money back. Just return it.

I roll down my windows about a block before I get home so that the warm, moist air gets flushed out of the truck before I park for the night cause the first place the moisture will condense is the windows, then I crack the windows for the first couple minutes when I start out until the defroster is putting out enough heat to clear the windshield.

That probably won't do much if your heater core is leaking though. The heater core in my Austin blew right good when I downshifted once on a -35 night... That was fun driving with a cloud of steam in the car. A bottle of Barr's Leaks fixed it.
