Are there any little tricks that I dont know about keeping the windows clear? I was plowing today and I had the defroster on high, wipers goin but I couldnt see anything out any one of them.
Ya I do think the heater core is leaking because i can smell coolant when I have the heat on and once in a while ill see a few drops on the p/s floor..it does not have AC so on the p/s where would i look to clean it out?
Hey Dennis. Have you used our product before? The reason I ask is because I am not really recommending FogTech for auto windows. FogTech works great on fog, but because of the application method and the expense, defogging windows is a bit hard on the budget and hard to get a coating that does not smear.
FogTech is being used for small optics, like face shields, goggles, glasses, gun sights, etc.
I did have one guy who used it to defog his tractor windows, so it works but....
If anyone has bought it for their windows and has a problem, we will give you your money back. Just return it.
I roll down my windows about a block before I get home so that the warm, moist air gets flushed out of the truck before I park for the night cause the first place the moisture will condense is the windows, then I crack the windows for the first couple minutes when I start out until the defroster is putting out enough heat to clear the windshield.
That probably won't do much if your heater core is leaking though. The heater core in my Austin blew right good when I downshifted once on a -35 night... That was fun driving with a cloud of steam in the car. A bottle of Barr's Leaks fixed it.
