I wonder if F150 mirrors would fit, the only others I've seen is on the skyjacker 2005 superduty on their site, I want something that tucks in much tighter than the dual stalk oem's.

Badford,

Where did you get your new mirrors? Did you add heat or lighted ones? Sounds like they weren't difficult to change.

Why did you feel you needed a better view? Do you have a canopy or do you tow big stuff? Just wondering how effective the sport mirrors are for non-towing purposes.

I just got my TT mirrors (xmas present) put on by dealer ($90). Just didn't want to fool with 'em. Besides they were a present, why should I have to work on 'em? I am still getting used to them. So far I like them, sort of. I got really, really used to the others (wanted the TT from the start but had the sports). Doesn't seem like you have as much horizontal view with the TTs. But, I DO like the little convex mirrors. Anyone sold the sport mirrors and how much did you get? What do they go for new?

i paid $150 for my new tow mirrors they didn't have the lights or heat but are power. i wanted to try the bigger mirrors because it seams with the crew cab you have a big blind spot with the smaller view. i also pull a 20' ski boat and wanted a better view of it. don't get me wrong i liked the sport mirrors but i got a good deal on the tow mirrors so why not.... easy install, take off door panel unplug harnes 4 bolts and your done! also i don't think the f150 mirrors would fit not even close!

Badford, thanks for the explanation. I will be ordering my F250 this week and I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need the TT mirrors, since 1) I won't be towing and 2) I'm getting the regular cab config. I plan on eventually getting a canopy, however if I feel I need better visibility, I can do what you did and install the TT mirrors myself. Cool.
