Ok, a few weeks ago I asked where to find the Vin# on my '53 f-100. Several of you came through and I thought I had found the number. Well, I looked it up on a couple decoders and I don't think I have the right number.
The number I found, as best I can tell, is something like:

The number I found, as best I can tell, is something like:
M0D3019184 followed by a star.
I'm at a loss.
Any suggestions?
I'm going to guess that the number is hard to read and a couple of the values are not quite right. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Could the "M" be an F followed by a 1?
Could the second "0" be another roundish letter like C or D?
Could

F10D3C19184?
or
F10D3D19184?
F10 - F-100 truck series
D - 215 CID OHV in-line 6 cylinder
3 - 1953
C - Chester assembly plant
or
D - Dallas assembly plant
19184 - consecutive unit number (starts at 10001)
