5.4 prob under load
I have a 97 expo with the 5.4, 4x4 auto about 110,000. When it idles runs great, when you accelerate runs great, when you pass runs great, but when you are cruising and have a gradual rise in speed like going up a hill severe vibrations,(shakes the whole truck) kick it down goes away, its just when the truck is under a load....nearest computer is 90 miles away at a ford dealership any advice already changed fuel filter, new gas, run ejector cleaner regularly and used gas line anti freeze
