4x4 question
I have a 1993 Ranger 4.0 standard 5spd.Havent had it very long trying to fix all the problems.I bought a chiltons repair manual but of course not a very good manual.Anyways the push buttom 4x4 does not work so I am trying to figure it out.First of all the tranfer case has a mangnetic sensor with two wires coming out of it which one is broke so I know that needs replaced.Second there is one brown wire comming out from the back of transfer case what is this wire and where does it go.There is a wire harness with a big plug that runs into the cab and into some sort of computer on drives side exstended cab seat but there nothing down there two plug into it so dont know what thats for.My manual does not cover any of this not even in the wiring diagrams.ANy info on this would help.Oh yah and where is this shift motor for the 4x4 located I cant find anything down there is it internal.
