Blower Motor Resistor

I am in need of a new Blower motor resistor. I have researched all local parts stores and the internet to purchase a new one. I have a 1993 F-150 2WD. I am not really interested in obtaining one from a salvage yard. Never know what you are going to get from those places. Anyone know where I can find one?

You probably just need to go into the store with the old one, and say "look I need this" the dumb kid behind the counter may look at it funny, but one of the older guys will know what it is.

Guess I could try that- seems that the words blower motor resistor are non-existent in my local parts store's vocabulary.

After about two minutes on Napaonline.com, I found an Echline BR223 for $21.49. You could order it from them, or the local NAPA store can probably get it.

I could not find the part on autozone.com

Why not a dealer?? I do believe Ford Parts is still supporting 93 series trucks.
Most autoparts stores don't have stuff like that. No room in the inventory/not enuf demand. Good Luck

Try pulling Auto Zone, Napa, etc. up on the Internet. Find the part, copy the number, and take it with you to the parts store. This is how I found mine.
