Trailer plug connections

I want to connect a extra plug in the box on my 04 SD to connect my 5th wheel
plug have found that it can be installed into the left front stake pocket by drilling a suitable hole to flush mount it under the box rail. The wiring can be droped down between the inner box liner and the outer skin of the box to the chassis, from there I would like to tie it into the factory trailer wiring under the hood so the splices are not exposed to the moisture and salt from the roads that they would be over a period of time. I have traced the wiring that supplies
the rear bumper plug to a plug by the steering coluum can any one supply a wiring diagram so I can figure out which wire to connect to.

This is about a 2000. I don't know if your 04 is the same. If things look the same, you can verify with a test light.
