Road trip time!

Hey everyone. First time posting. I have a 1984 F-150 shortbed with a 351 and Hedman headers. I'm about to take a little road trip that requires me to buy some sort of RV to live in, either a fifth wheel or a trailer. Now here's the million dollar question to all you Ford Truck wizards out there. (I'm sure the answer is a well known fact somewhere) Anyone have any idea just how much weight I can expect to pull behind me without putting too much undo stress on the engine? and while we're at it, on a side note, does anyone know what the miles per gallon ratio is on one of those old 351 F-150's when it comes to highway driving? Thanks in advance.

First of all, an F-150 probably isn't the best choice of tow vehicle for a fifth wheel. Make sure that you do not overload the vehicle while towing. If you have an accident on the road and kill somebody, you could end up doing time. Not only that, but your insurance company will drop you like a bad habit. You really should have gotten and F-250 or bigger. The information that you are seeking should be listed on the sticker on the door jamb of the driver side door.
