Missouri chapter

Is the Missouri chapter shut down now? It looks like you can't post any new threads or replies.

Sorry to say,
but if you read some of the posts" made by Mil1ion in that forum you'll see he really tried to keep them open, but.. well read for yourself and you'll see why,
but it does not mean that its forever..its just that its going to take alot of effort on the ex-members to bring it back online.

It can happen to any chapter due to inactivity or lack of a leader.

the chapters can be a great benefit if they "The members" want it to be..and that means being part of the group and helping it grow and staying active.

So is it still an option for someone to just take on the chapter leader position or do you have to go through the process of starting a new chapter?

Read this first

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=296418

then contact Mil1ion, for he will decide on whatcan and will happen with the chapters.

Also spend some time reading what other chapters are doing, just to get an idea what happens in a chapter.

No to starting an new chapter.

What has to happen is some ground work behind the scenes to see how much user's really want the Chapter to be alive.
*Note*: The Missouri Chapter was once the premiere chapter.

There will always be a revolving door of user's in ALL chapter's.

What the Chapter needs is to Focus on the Present & Future (with a Vision).
Since I extended the date 3 times,I would suggest e-mailing fellow Missouri members to re-kindle the flame.

Then once something is organized, let me know.

Good Luck

So we basically need to get some guys together, decide on someone to be the chapter leader, get something planned for the future and then get back with you?

Yep, that will do it.

Just make sure the C/L eligibility is met.

Sorry to be bothering you with all this now. I feel that I am still kinda new here and really thought someone that had been around longer would step up and take over. What would be the easiest way to get some fellow Missourian's e-mail addresses and where do I find the criteria for being chapter leader? Also any suggestions on guy's you may know that were active in the Missouri chapter. What happened to previous leader?

You can email me if you are serious about getting this back on track, but we beat the horse for a while, and noone was watching in the forum, so I don't know what to tell you. I hate to give up, but it looked to me that the majority had done just that... We had such an active chapter a year ago, I still haven't figured out what happened, there was never a notice as to loosing our leader, and all the others that seem to have departed. For now, you may want to hook up with your neighboring state's chapter, get involved there, and get a feel for what it is SUPPOSED to be like. I am closer geographically to the Iowa chapter than I was to most of the members in the Missouri chapter, which led to my being VERY involved with the Iowa chapter... I would be willing to help coordinate the return of the Missouri chapter.

if you go back throught the forum archive, you'll find a lot of what you are looking for, many are still active on the site, but not the Missouri forum and chapter.

no, I didn't get one from you, you could try pm if you want... I saw that too, many that were active never actually joined...

OK, I take that back, I did get it, been having trouble with the computer and the internet today, had a power outage at a bad time, then fighting off a virus as well...

I have e-mailed the following members about the situation- greysteak92, hoxiii, momudder720, and rotormech. I have heard back from momudder and he is interested. I tried to contact people around my area so that it would be easier to get people together and get something going quicker.
