351w

Hey everyone getting ready to rebuild a 86' 351 HO for for my 86' F-150 4x4, and was wondering what are some easy mods to get a little extra hp. Are any heads interchangable that would work better, such as 302 or 351M heads? Just curious. Basically all internals will be stock except for mild cam. Will eventually add on diff. intake and carb down the road as well as headers before I get my new exhuast. Thanks.

Mild cam, nice intake and good exaust. If the budget fits a new ignition then you will be really set.

Port the exhaust ports while you have the heads. If done your self it's worth while.

aluminum intake and heads would help alot. you can run a variety of cams but call the company to find one that will suit your needs.

good luck
