Do all newer Broncos have headlight on buzzers when the key if off and the door is opened? My 92 owner's manual says it should have it but it doens't function. Does anyone know which "sensor" wire to the buzzer should go high or low for this conditon? I have an annoying seat belt and key-in buzzer but that appears to be it.
Never had one make me crazy in either of mine. But then thats probably for the best since I would have yanked it anyway.
However, according to the electrical diagrams, there should be a brown wire from pin "R" in the main light switch to the warning chime module. Theoretically this should be the trigger for the chime if the lights get left on.
Hey thanks, I'll check that out and hopefully it will do the trick. I'm sure I can find out which ones to yank to eliminate the other annoying buzzers.
My 90 has a chime that works, but it isn't very loud. I would actually like it to be louder for the lights, but I wouldn't want it to chime for the door ajar. Perhaps I can cut the door ajar lead, and get a new chime that would be louder. I can barely hear the one on there now.
I noticed that there was a warning module as well from the wiring diagram. Where exactly is the physical module itself. I don't know how many more times I can leave my lights on before I really lose it.
