9 inch rear??
i have a 76 F-150 2wd 460 4bbl,(pic in gallery), it has 3.00 gears in it,you wouldnt know it the way it puts you back in the seat and hauls anything, its a beast even with those highway gears, anyways, my question is, i know my gear ratio, but i dont know if its a 9 inch rear or not, there is no pan on the back its all one piece, ive been told that is how you ID a 9 inch but i dont trust the source.....i searched this question for some time and found nothing, maybe i didnt look deep enough but i figured id just ask......thanx for you help........

this site has great info on the 9", you should be able to tell if this is what you have. (which you should have a 9")
