'50 interior question...
I was wonderin' if anyone knew if there were replacement interior door panels available for a 48-50 F-1?

...I ask because I haven't been able to locate them and I don't have them on my '50. Are they simply metal panels? I imagine I could make a pattern and fab a couple if need be.

LA 50 - They are just plain panels with the holes drilled around. I haven't seen them on aftermarket suppliers. I have seen them used on ebay.com from time to time. Since you live in Los Angeles, (close to me). There is a junkyard called Memory Lane. The have old trucks etc in the yard. You may find some there. Be advised they don't have junkyard prices.

They pop up on ebay quite a bit. I think their ending prices seem to be dropping too. When I first started looking they were going for $40-$50 a pair, but eventually I got mine for $10 pair, sandblasted and primed. That was several months ago.

Try www.RodDoors.com has a complete interior for that truck. Limited only to the size of your wallet.
